Choir Updates
Each of us, as members of McMinnville Women's Choir,
are demonstrating how women are investing in tradition to create change,
like alchemists turning discord into harmony.

5 Bullet Points for Effective Rehearsals
1. Come, Commit, Communicate: Come to rehearsal. Commit to at least 3 rehearsals per month. Communicate (to your section leader or me) when you need to be gone.
2. Practice Proper Podium Protocol: Whenever the conductor is in the podium area, that's your signal to be quiet and attentive.
3. Fan the Flow: Show appreciation for excellent singing, conducting, or cleverness with snaps or shuffles. Be brief but genuine. Betty's special request: if I'm "in the flow", flow along!
4. Mark the Music: Always have a pencil handy to mark breaths, dynamics, special instructions. Don't rely on your memory :)
5. 80% is Everything: Our goal is to individually learn 80% of our music. If everyone does this, we'll collectively have 100% of music and joy!
